90mm deep, Easton carbon rims feature Easton's Variable Nipple Bed technology which places material only where it's needed to support spoke tension. R4 TT front hub reduces frontal exposure to the wind by as much as 50%. Low spoke count (12-front; 16-rear) and hidden nipples enhance aerodynamic efficiency. Entirely hand-built and acoustically tuned in Easton's own factory.
Stiff and narrow equals a wheelset that is more Aerodynamic than the competition. Wind tunnel tuned while built for high performance time trials and triathlon use. Internally tapering the rim bed eliminates excess carbon between spoke holes and allows for a sharper inner edge. Less weight, improved aerodynamics with no loss in strength.
