Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
The ratchet wrench has a male 1/4" square head and the bits are all hex driven. The product images for the wrench + bits kit all show an adapter that ill go from female square to female hex (aka a socket).
The question is what sized hex is the shaft on these bits.
It would be logical if they were 1/4" hex because that's the shaft size used for the disposable bits for powered screwdrivers.
Can anyone confirm the right size?
Will the extension pieces within this set fit my torque wrench?
Do I need any other adapters to make it work?
For the torque used at these sizes, you will generally be using a smaller wrench with a ¼" male drive. Search for Draper Expert 31998 to see the adapter I used. The next size up is 3/8" square drive but very few wrenches at that size cover the 2-8Nm range (accurately at least).
