I Clip my Left leg in First and Un-clip my Right to stop normally
Will this setup be ok?
My main concern before trying rollers for the first time is getting on and off the thing without having a "Moment"! lol
Cheers in advance for any help
watch Rochelle Gilmore's instructional videos on youtube. They have some great tips.
Although the step is only on the left side, I don't think this would be a problem for you.
And, don't worry, you'll still have plenty of 'moments' while you learn! :-)
I have resorted to putting my step ladder next to me, and holding on before coming to a stop, then un-clipping.
Having said that, once you're up and running, they're quite easy to use and I'm happy with them.
I'm just using my end of season tires and plan for new ones in the spring.
Using on none position with the maximal devlopment of any road bike (52/12 or something like this) is a real load .
Matching V arion setting and bike gear setting may help to adjust the load / cadence balance of your training
1. Place on carpet with a rubber mat, on a wooden floor without any mats it will resonate more.
2. If you wind them up to too much they will resonate and cause vibration in a wooden house..
ie in a 53/15, at 90+ cadence my girlfriend complains.
my chain makes more noise than the rollers.
It's much quieter than a vacuum cleaner.
I'm an XS female and have no problems carrying it from the spare room to the living room and can lift it with one arm.
