The lightweight alloy frame (with sportive geometry) is constructed of triple butted tubing and finished with lovely smooth welds at all the joints. The frame has an abundance of key features which include: a aerodynamic down tube profile, oversize box section chainstays (for increased power transfer), internal rear brake cable routing, curved wishbone seatstays (for enhanced comfort), and the compatibility for full length mudguards.
The compact chainset, with a wide range of sprockets on the cassette, gives you a large choice of gears for speed and for climbing. Many sportives events incorporate some nasty/steep climbs on the route so having a compact chainset makes life a little bit easier.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
Please can you recommend which size frame to go for, I am 5'6" with 30" inside leg, and female..
Answers
Far too many folks, including those who should know better, advise small males, females and kids to ride frames that are too high or too long for them. Don't! First, it's unsafe to ride a frame that's too big. Second, after ten kms or more, your neck will be likely killing you. It's impossible for a novice cyclist to get a good fit on a commuting frame that's too high and too long.
For a cheap bike for short distances, you still need to be able to stand comfortably and safely over the frame when dismounted from the saddle. The fit's then not so crucial. If you're commuting 45 minutes each way, however, then you will need a properly fitted, good quality, lightweight bike frame, with drop handlebars and dérailleurs, designed for the typical female build, with a shorter top tube to accommodate the shorter arms that females have on average compared to a male of the same inside leg.

I am about to purchase the Boardman Race as my first Triathlon bike but am unsure which size to buy.
Can you give me some idea of how the sizing works. Do you have a chart somewhere?
Many thanks for your assistance.

If you go to the 'Description' tab and scroll down there is a table that contains the 'Sizing Information'. That should help you make your decision.

Do you think the small or medium frame would be more suitable?
I'm thinking of buying this as a winter bike, my current road bike is a medium frame (53/54 cm#, frame size is fine height wise but I'm a bit stretched on it #that is also down to my lack of flexibility!)
Thanks
