The frame of the F75 is built from 7005 Superlite butted aluminium tubing which is custom-shaped and butted to maximize strength, minimize weight and deliver optimal ride quality. It has twin bottle cage mounts, a BB30 bottom bracket shell, a tapered headtube housing a tapered steerer fork a band-on front derailleur fitting. It uses a replaceable forged aluminium rear mech hanger which should save your frame from damage if the rear derailleur takes a knock.
The F75 is fitted primarily with Shimano's trusted 10 speed 105 groupset offering the no-compromise performance you need without unduly inflating the price. You get a 105 integrated shift and brake levers, 105 front and rear derailleurs, 105 dual pivot brake calipers and 105 chain and cassette. The compact chainset is the popular FSA Gossamer model which helps with climbing duties as well as being stiff and light.
The F75 rolls on some nice wheels too which is often somewhere a brand might skimp to save some pennies. Forged aluminium hubs with sealed bearings throughout are laced with a proper set of competition spokes from DT Swiss onto Mavic's popular and lightweight CXP-22s rims. You can get lighter, fancier wheels with far more exotic materials but durability and quality are good here and the machined rim side-walls mean braking performance is consistent too.
Finishing kit is predominantly Felt branded to keep the price sharp and with alloy bar, stem and a carbon fork and seatpost these are perfectly suitable and look well matched to the bike overall. The tyres are from Vittoria which is a nice inclusion at this price.
The F75 is well built throughout and delivers a good level of performance meaning it'll be on many people's short list as a road bike to upgrade to. If you want to see what other customers thought check the reviews on this page.

About the Felt brand
Felt is an American bicycle manufacturer based in Irvine, California. In the early 1990s the company was founded by Jim Felt who designed some of the very first triathlon bikes that propelled many of the worlds greatest athletes to Iron Man victories. High profile sponsorship has remained an intrinsic part of Felt’s strategy highlighted by their association with the Garmin Transitions professional road team and Olympic Triathletes Jan Frodeno and Emma Snowsill. With a strong product focus Felt has gone from strength-to-strength, going from just six bike models in the USA to over 150 bike models, sold in over 30 countries. Felt have created a niche group of highly skilled and dedicated people who work together to create bicycles that consistently exceed their riders’ expectations by providing a sense of individuality, inspiration and pride in ownership. Felt are not governed by their competitors’ measurements of success - the desire to push beyond the limits of technology never allows Felt to rest on their laurels. As their universal mission statement suggests, Felt’s reason for existing is “To design, develop, and deliver the best bicycles in the world. Period.”

Replace the heavy 2 kgs wheels for something relatively inexpensive and you'd save 500 grms... change the FSA crankset with anything and you'd save a couple hundred grams more.
Even if the official site is correct at 8.61, the difference is not a reasonable manufacturing tolerance, it is just incorrect.
Though I am not a weight fanatic, it would be nice to have reliable weight information when buying at distance, or in any other way for that matter.
I have just ordered a Boardman Comp with the same wheel set, and that is declared as being more than 2kg heavier ? Hard to believe. I shall put it on the scales when it arrives, maybe someone will do the same with this F75.
What we need is a web site that gives accurate weights, not those declared by the manufacturer. Or maybe redress if the weight is say more than 5% inaccurate.
