About the Felt brand
Felt is an American bicycle manufacturer based in Irvine, California. In the early 1990s the company was founded by Jim Felt who designed some of the very first triathlon bikes that propelled many of the worlds greatest athletes to Iron Man victories. High profile sponsorship has remained an intrinsic part of Felt’s strategy highlighted by their association with the Garmin Transitions professional road team and Olympic Triathletes Jan Frodeno and Emma Snowsill. With a strong product focus Felt has gone from strength-to-strength, going from just six bike models in the USA to over 150 bike models, sold in over 30 countries. Felt have created a niche group of highly skilled and dedicated people who work together to create bicycles that consistently exceed their riders’ expectations by providing a sense of individuality, inspiration and pride in ownership. Felt are not governed by their competitors’ measurements of success - the desire to push beyond the limits of technology never allows Felt to rest on their laurels. As their universal mission statement suggests, Felt’s reason for existing is “To design, develop, and deliver the best bicycles in the world. Period.”

you are on the edge of a 55cm and a 58cm bike.you have the same size legs are myself, and I would personally go for a 58cm in this situation. it depends on the reach you prefer.
I will use the cycle for a 6-7 mile communte to work in London and some recreational riding along canal towpaths as well as the road.

If it helps the 58cm would definitely be to big. 55cm sounds about right for your height.

Also, when you put your foot on the pedal, and if you have big feet (as in size 9+ with shoes/trainers/whatever on), you might find the tip of your foot hitting the front wheel around sharp (ish) corners. Wide corners you'll be fine but if you're weaving in out of traffic you may find your foot hitting the front wheel. Sometimes it can even happen on moderate corners if no foot placement planning is done in advance whilst approaching some corners. I got around this by buying toe clips which keep your feet in place. I'm an experienced cyclist (20+) doing everyday long commutes and even i found this alarming. Like I said earlier, the bike is a little bit unstable at faster riding fitness speeds too.
I'd recommend another bike if you're going on the roads. If you're using it on dry, windless, nice weather days whilst casually cycling on council cycle tracks it'll be fine. Still, I'd say this bike is aimed at the fitness rider rather than the causal rider, hence why I say it probably requires someone who has more recent experience in cycling.
Hope this helps.
I'm just over 6ft 1 with 32inch inner leg, is the 55 cm frame large enough or do I require a 58cm frame
