Truvativ Power Spline Bottom Bracket 3.6 5 15 15

I don't think you get many options if you've got a truvativ splined crank, so i bought this bottom bracket. In hindsight i probably should have taken the opportunity and upgraded the cranks and bottom bracket. The truvative bottom is cheap, but i think mine again needs replacing already. 11 July 2010

Good, but wears out quickly I only got 24,000 km out of this bottom bracket, but on my other bike, the shimano bottom bracket is showing no slack/play in the bearings after 40,000km. 02 July 2011

Avoid if you dont want more hasstle At first this is a perfetly fine bottom bracket and worked well for the first year but soon looses its charm and quickly wears out. It would seem that its price is refelcted in its durability. I ride 2-3 times a week around 20k on both trail and XC trails and whilst i am not a spinner it would seem that i crank to hard for this bracket. I wouldn't really recommend this bottom bracket for the regular rider or you will be replaceing it regulary along with a new groupset 15 May 2011

Answer:

You can measure the width of the frame where the bottom bracket sits - so, side to side. Usually 68 or 73 mm. Don't know the Boardman specifically. Then you need the spindle length (the axle the pedals are fitted to). Best is to take the pedals off to measure this. Can be 110mm and longer. The most certain method for all of this is to take out the old bottom bracket and it will have its dimensions marked. Ian

You can use this chainset with a 103mm or 113mm depending on what frame you fit it to.

Answer:

You will need to measure the axle length of your original bottom bracket and match it with the BB's we list, I would suspect if you have a triple chainset it will be at least 113mm.
