The frame of the Wilier 501 XN 29er was developed with all the technical knowledge Wilier have gained over the years from making some of the best carbon road bikes in the business. This means you get an outstanding level of manufacture and reliability, extraordinarily low weight and excellent attention to detail throughout. The frame includes full internal cable routing, a tapered headtube for better front end rigidity, twin bottle cage mounts and a replaceable forged aluminium rear derailleur hanger.
The suspension fork is a Rock Shox Reba RL model which has an ample 100mm of travel and features both rebound adjustment and a lockout function for improved climbing. The Reba are some of the most reliable and serviceable forks out there meaning you should have years of enjoyment from these provided you service them one a year.
Brakes are from Avid and are the ever popular Elixir model with the rest of the bike equipped with SRAM's trusted X9 kit, on this model featuring the lighter 2x10 set up now favoured by many riders.

About the Wilier brand
Wilier was born in 1906 thanks to the brilliant idea of a trader from Bassano, Pietro Dal Molin, of building bicycles on his own account. His forge or "Steel horses" rose as a small workshop along the banks of the river Brenta, at Bassano del Grappa, and it became more and more successful by keeping up with the increasing demand for bicycles.
