The cut is a bit longer than regular shorts, helping to keep the knees dry, and because it isn't overly baggy they don't get billowed about in the wind. They're fully seam sealed and have an elasticated waist, as opposed to a zip that may let water in. As the name suggests, they're really lightweight, and although they may not be the warmest on their own, when coupled with a decent pair of under-shorts they make ideal winter riding shorts. I spent two-and-a-half hours riding in these in a downpour and my boxers remained dry throughout. 'Nuf said.
In conclusion...
Extremely well fitting shorts that keep you bone dry in the worst of conditions.
