Review from

Mountain bike trousers have had a bad press, and for good reason - they've mainly been crap. They're usually too hot, too baggy, too flared... Thankfully, Endura have come up with some trousers that we genuinely don't mind riding in.
The Techpant overtrousers, as the name suggests, are quite tech. They're made from triple-layer ripstop nylon fabric and feature abrasion-resistant patches in the seat and at the ankles to fend off knocks and chainring damage. There are also strategically placed waterproof sections on the legs and lower back, waterproof zips and a built-in belt.
So what are they actually like to ride in? Pretty good - they're best suited to very cold days when you can run a thin pair of bib tights underneath, like long johns. We also used them on wet commutes. They're not totally waterproof - you can still get a damp bum - but they dry quickly.
In conclusion...
This winter will be easier in Endura Techpants.
