Enduro was the first to introduce MAX type bearings, ABEC 5 precision bearings, and unique snap ring replaceable seals to the bicycle industry. Recently, Enduro has developed 3 levels for ceramic bearings, with such innovations as cryogenically treated races, silicone seals, and Grade 3 silicon nitride balls.
Enduro work closely with many bicycle hub, suspension and bottom bracket manufacturers to ensure they provide the best bearing for every application. This connection to the machine shops and fabricators of bicycle components has helped Enduro to develop many unique design features, such as the ZerØ (grade 3) Ceramic Bearings featured within this upgrade kit, Blac Oxide coatings to protect against rust and Dual-lip labyrinth seals to keep dirt out and grease in, even under the most extreme conditions.
A testament to the quality and performance advantage to be gained from using Enduro bearings, is that the Cérvélo Test Team have chosen them, this is a team at the forefront of bicycle innovation who are pushing technology to the limit.

About Bottom Brackets
Bicycle bottom brackets connect the cranks to the bike and allow the crank arms to rotate. There are various sizes of bottom bracket shell on the market, so compatibility needs to be checked. The three most common frame bottom bracket shell widths are 68mm (English threaded road and mtb), 70mm (Italian threaded road) and 73mm (British threaded mtb). There are also many axle shapes and styles, from JIS or ISO square tapers through to the round splined axles such as ISIS or Octalink and then there is the new external cup systems which have the axle built into the crank arms. Some frames are now using the new BB30 system which uses bearings pushed directly into the frame and removes the needs for cups to be threaded into the frame.
