Crossover I've been using a MaXx D on my MTB for a couple of years now and wanted to transfer it to the road bike - same mount, fits no problem and light fits easily too. 29 January 2013

Simple but perfect I hate having to fiddle to perform what should be a simple task and this piece of kit performs the job perfectly. Yes it's pricey but it is well made and once fixed I can switch my MaxDD with ease between road and mountain bikes.............. 05 January 2013

What cleat is included with this kit? Is is it the 'plate' that screws to the bottom of the light, or the 'u-shaped clip'?

The u shaped clip springs around the lamp, The bar clamp its self has a spring loaded button....pull down on it and slide in the 'foot' on the spring clamp, then release the button and the light is secure. Quick, easy and secure.

The light has a male triangular section which mates with the female triangular slot on the bracket. There is a spring loaded pin in the bracket that holds the light in situ. It has a red cap and is manually adjusted.

Kit only includes the bracket. You need to have the light with the plate with it in order to get it to fit.

There is no cleat included, I think that is always attached to the bottom of the light. The fitting is a triangular one that the light slides into and locks in place with a retractable pin.
