The frame of the F3 uses the exact same geometry and in fact the same mould as the range topping F1 model ridden in the Pro Tour and as a result shares the same precision handling and power-transfer characteristics. It features a tapered head tube and matching tapered fork meaning the front end inspires cornering confidence as well as minimizing flex when sprinting. The bottom bracket area is also incredibly stiff and allows for the use of a larger diameter BB30 chainset which both increases pedaling efficiency and decreases weight.

The groupset is predominantly SRAM's top-end 10 speed Red group and offers braking, shifting and power transfer performance only matched by the costliest of rivals. The BB30 chainset is a semi-compact model from SRAM which provides both lower gearing for better climbing and still offers a 52t big ring for better performance and higher top speed.

The F3 gets a full complement of SRAM kit rounded off by a set of the brand's S27al mid profile wheels which are both beautifully light and have excellently smooth bearings for whisper quiet performance and almost friction free rolling characteristics.

The finishing kit is all from Felt but you do get a top set of Rubino Pro slicks from Vittoria.

The F3 begs to be ridden fast and would be quite at home on the local race scene. There is a law of diminishing returns with most things that cost money and bikes are no different. With the amount of top quality inclusions in the F3 you'll have to spend a lot more to get anything even a little bit better.
