The Focus Cayo 105 2010 Ltd Edition is exclusive to us at Wiggle, we wanted to give the people in the UK an exceptionally good value full carbon framed road bike as close to the original as possible, without breaking the bank!

The 2009 model saw right through to the raw carbon finish, some people loved it, some took a different view...well, for 2010 we chose three colours...for the UK we thought long and hard and then decided on Red, White and Blue!

Key frame features which caused the Cayo to cause such a stir remain such as the advanced SSPS frame tubing. The SSPS (Stable Stiffness Per Size) system designed by the FOCUS engineers is a real stroke of genius. Until now all frame sizes had the same tube dimensions, but with SSPS the tube dimensions are exactly tailored to the size of the bike. This means that no matter how tall you are, whether 1.6m or 2.2m, your Focus bike has the same ideal ride quality with consistent rigidity, suspension and strength per size.

The Cayo 105 2010 Ltd Edition features Shimano's 105 10 speed components coupled with a FSA Gossamer Pro compact chainset. Each component has been carefully chosen to maximise performance, then added to the Cayo's UD (Uni-Directional Layer) & SSPS (stable stiffness per size) Carbon Fibre Frame and Fork to give you, the rider a fast, yet comfortable ride at all times. This limited edition bike is rounded off with a pair of Cole Rollen wheels, wrapped with Schwalbe's 23mm wide Lugano tyres. A Concept Xtreme saddle fitted to a FSA SL280 seat post, while a Concept stem with a pair of FSA's oversized Vero comp bars look after the cockpit.

The use of a compact chainset, coupled with a cassette ratio of 12-27T provides the rider with a wide range of gears to choose from, providing the top end speed for descending and a nice low ratio when tackling climbs. This exclusive Cayo offers exceptional pound for pound value and performance, whether you want to race or just take it easy.

The Cayo range of bike are used by the riders in Team Wiggle and by Olympic and World Champion Nicole Cooke who signed a deal with Wiggle and Focus Bikes, which will see her and her newly created team, Vision1 Racing, riding Focus frames this season. The Vision1 riders will be using Focus Cayo and Focus Izalco frames for training and racing.

Nicole stormed to victory at the Beijing Olympics and has set up the team with the goal of developing the next generation of cyclists ready for London 2012 - and is delighted they'll be riding Focus frames.

The Vision1 team includes a mix of young British talents such as Dani King and Katie Curtis together with more experienced riders Helen Wyman and Gabby Day who it is hoped will bring the best out of each other over the coming seasons to realise their full potential.
