With features like 500g lighter carbon rear triangle with carbon drop-outs, four-bar linkage with shock travel offering more control, extremely generous chain-stay clearance for more tyre room and extra tough carbon fibre down tube for greater reliability and a tapered head tube for improved tracking, all these advances add up to make this frame an absolute joy to ride.
SSPS
With the new Stable Stiffness Per Size (SSPS) system the FOCUS engineers have come up with a real stroke of genius. Until now all aluminium frame sizes had the same tube dimensions but with SSPS the tube dimensions are exactly tailored to the size of the bike. This means that no matter how tall you are, whether 1.6m or 2.2m, your Focus bike has the same ideal ride quality with consistent rigidity, suspension and strength per size.

Joplin L seatpost for a choice of ride heights, Focus have also spec'd their Carbon Cobalt wheels wrapped in Conti's Race King 2.2's, a pair of Avid Elixir CR Carbon brakes, Truvativ's Carbon Team handlebars and Truvativ's Noir 3.3 Team Chainset, to top these items off Focus have had them made with a Golden finish in anticipation of the race wins ahead.

This does not apply to the Focus 'FIRST' model. |
