The new Red Wind Series has been designed and developed with the aim of perfectly integrating two materials that make up the rim: an aluminium rim and the carbon body.
Thanks to the implementation of an exclusive coupling process between the aluminium rim and the carbon structure, the rim is extremely rigid, which allows for excellent responsiveness and outstanding durability of the wheel.
Moreover, thanks to the exclusive moulding system of the rim with non-primed carbon, the weight has been dramatically reduced and the surface has no imperfections.
CULT - Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology: The top quality ceramic balls, thanks to the absence of lubricating grease and the precision machining of the cup /cone, allows to drastically reduce the friction coefficient and thus increase the smoothness of the wheel by as much as 9 times compared to standard bearings. An outstanding result achieved by using cutting-edge technologies in the field of materials processing.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
If i where to purchase these wheels with a Shimano Freehub and I also purchase a spare campagnolo freehub. Would it as simple as just swaping freehub bodys?
Do you know if the axel is centered differently or there would be a problem with the Dish of the spokes?
The options are for a Campagnolo freehub or a Shimano freehub.
I purchased these from Wiggle in June 2013. 2 months after purchase I found what appears to be rust (a brownish layer) sitting right in the seam where the carbon meets the aluminum breaking surface.
I am not sure what this residual really is since the material is carbon and aluminum and they do not rust. I email the Fulcrum folks per address in the warranty booklet but has gotten zero response.
Has anyone experienced the same and is this dangerous?
Also, are they conventional nipples that can be trued with a standard spoke key (like the FR3) or does one need a special key such as with the FR1?
If so, since i am using a 10 speed cassette, does it come with the required spacer to take up the "extra space" ? Thks!
