For a watch with so many features, it's extremely easy to get to grips with, operating on a tap and scroll bezel system similar to an iPod. The accuracy of the GPS-provided data was superb and this model has none of the signal strength problems of previous models. It locks on to a satellite signal in under a minute, and you can tailor the screen layout to provide the details you want, or set the device to auto scroll through various screens so you don't have to fiddle with it on the run. Screen visibility is excellent, but the bezel is sensitive and it is easy to accidentally change screens unless it is locked. Information and stats can be sent wirelessly to and from your computer and also between Garmin devices.

All the technology you would want in a user-friendly package.
