Oregon 450's preloaded European recreation map provides street maps, contours and POIs for 33 countries and 3D elevation perspective with enhanced track navigation to show upcoming changes in elevation on the active route with start, end, high and low points.
Oregon supports paperless geocaching and has an 850MB built-in memory for storing 2,000 waypoints, 200 routes and 200 saved tracks. Oregon also includes a MicroSD™ card slot to load optional data such as Garmin GB Discoverer™ for Ordnance Survey Explorer Map detail.
GB Discoverer: Explore all of Great Britain with detailed 50K topographic and road maps. Garmin GB Discoverer 1:50K contains full 1:50K scale Ordnance Survey Landranger map coverage for the whole of Great Britain. Plus, with NAVTEQ road data and points of interest, you'll get turn-by-turn directions to your destinations.
GB Discoverer's detailed topographic data includes terrain contours, topo elevations, summits, paths, routable roads and geographical points. The premium NAVTEQ road data is the same detailed data included in our leading automotive products - with thousands of addresses and points of interest, including lodging, food and drink, car parks, banks, petrol stations, attractions, campsites, and more. Search for an address or point of interest, and your Garmin device displays turn-by-turn directions to your destination.
About Outdoor GPS Units
GPS receivers are now made waterproof, lightweight and small enough to take outdoors and provide you with easy navigation and/or a detailed record of your journey.
