The Women’s Laguna is a mountain bike that has been specifically designed for female riders who want to explore the countryside on paths, tracks or trails. It’s ideal for light off-road use. The main feature of the Laguna is the step-thru frame design which makes mounting and dismounting easier, plus the female specific saddle for your comfort.
Front suspension forks (SR Suntour M3010) are fitted and provide extra front-end comfort as you cycle over lumps, bumps, and pot-holes. The forks give 63mm of travel which is plenty for light country tracks and trails.
The gearing components supplied are a mixture of Shimano and Microshift. Both supply good performance and coupled with the triple chainset offer you 21 gears to play with. That's enough gears for what this bike is designed to do so you should be able to find the right gear for the right terrain you ride over. Stopping you, when required, are a pair of Promax linear pull V-brakes. These offer good performance and great brake modulation.
The cabling is all external and you have space for one bottle cage. With the upright rider position, which gives you better control and more stability whilst riding, the Laguna is also at home on the streets, in town, where you live. This makes the Laguna a versatile bike for most of your cycling needs.
Finally the wheels are a mix of Alex rims built on alloy hubs (quick release) and have a pair of All Terrain 26" x 2.0 tyres. These are robust and strong enough with the tyres giving good grip.
A great bike for riding through town or for taking trips into parks etc. Each Laguna is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition. To find out which size fits you use the size chart below.

About Hard Tail Mountain Bikes
If you are looking for a mountain bike that can comfortably negotiate bumpy, cross-country, singletracks yet still be quick and nimble on the road, then a hardtail bike is for you. Hard tail mountain bikes have front suspension, weigh less and are more pedal efficient when the terrain is smooth, than full suss bikes. A good number of single track racers still use hardtails for these reasons. At wiggle, we stock a wide variety of hardtail mountain bike brands including Felt, Focus, GT, Kona, Mongoose, Saracen and more. So if you are searching for superb, quality spec hardtail mountain bikes at great value with a legendary service to match, then you've come to the right place.
About the GT brand
GT Bikes, based in Southern California, has been in the business of making great bikes since 1972 when Gary Turner launched one of the first performance BMX race bikes. Developing world class bikes in conjunction with the world’s best BMX rider such as Greg Hill, Eddie Fiola, Clive Gosling and Dave Mirra, GT grew into one of the biggest brands. With a BMX heritage and based in California the MTB scene was the perfect addition in the late 80’s . GT used the same model of developing performance bikes with the best riders, pioneering new suspension technology and the use of carbon fibre in MTB frames. Winning numerous World Championships in downhill and cross country racing with legendary riders such Nicholas Vouilloz, Steve Peat and more recently Atherton Racing, with Dan Gee and Rachel Atherton. Hans “No Way” Ray has been one of the figurehead of GT’s longstanding team rider program, setting the record for longest sponsorship deal of 26 (?) years and counting. It hasn’t always been about dirt, in the mid 90’s GT took there carbon technology and build track bikes for the USA Olympic team, the bike was later banned for being too fast. GT latest crop of Enduroad Grade models play perfect testament to the brands heritage across, dirt, road and track.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
