Wiggle started out as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop established in Portsmouth, UK in 1920. In 1999, Butlers Cycles went online with the launch of wiggle.co.uk.

By focusing on providing unmatched value and great customer service, Wiggle rapidly took off in the UK and soon began expanding around the globe. We have now grown to become a global leader in the online retail of equipment for cycling, running and swimming, selling to over 70 countries in 10 languages and 14 currencies.

We occupy over 85,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and stock over 2 million items!

Merchandiser

Location: Mallusk

Are you looking for your next challenge within Merchandising? WiggleCRC are looking for a Merchandiser to join the family on a permanent basis!

The Merchandiser role is to analyse past and current sales, trends and the overall category market to define a customer balanced range framework for the Buyer to select products against.

What will I be doing?

The Merchandiser owns the overall Department P&L and is responsible for modelling price promotions and clearance activities, and keeping the range performing within the agreed parameters (Budget / agreed re-forecasts).

Duties and responsibilities

·Input and owner of Department Budget and Forecast

·Sales Volume, Value, COGS, Stock, Intake and Gross Profit

·Creation of balanced range framework (attribute and spend balance)

·Owner of in season trading numbers (P&L)

·Owner of the product forecasts

·Forecast, model and track price promotions and clearance activity

·Propose sourcing objectives (speed / cost balance)

·Develop and sign off the pre-season Department Budget

·Design and sign off the Department Assortment Plan

·Use historical analysis and market trends effectively to justify forward plans

·Identify the required sourcing strategy for the Department

·Manage the in-season reforecasting process

·Manage the range within the agreed parameters (width of range, clearance at end of lifecycle etc)

·Sign off Supplier Deals and Terms

·Communicate key information to the wider business (e.g. Marketing, Operations, Finance etc)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·Past experience of Merchandising within a similar retailer

·Highly performing individual from within the business looking to progress.

·Must be highly numeric with good skills in Excel and Powerpoint

·Oracle Retail is an advantage.

·Have good commercial understanding of the product set, with wider market knowledge.

·Understand the principles of balanced attribute range building, and able to construct and operate within a budgeted framework.

What will you be doing?

What will I be doing?

You will be responsible for translating Wiggle’s website interface, marketing and digital content, technical products and help pages. No previous translation skills are necessary however native levels skills in written and spoken Japanese and English are a must.

  • Translate website contents, product descriptions and marketing and digital contents
  • Understand and learn Wiggle products
  • Make sure the Translation Memory (TM) is organised and up-to-date
  • Make sure the glossary/termbase is organised and up-to-date

Replenisher

We ship thousands of bikes, components, clothing and accessories to over 115 countries on a daily basis and pride ourselves on the quality of the products we sell, speed of delivery and first-class customer service.

We are looking for career oriented, hungry and ambitious individuals with stock control experience to join our Buying and Merchandising team as a Replenisher. As a Replenisher you will work alongside a Merchandiser, supporting them by effectively planning intake, to optimise product availability in line with WSSI stock targets.

You must challenge and seek ways to constantly improve supplier ordering parameters such as reduced lead times, lower MOQ’s, more efficient pack sizes etc.

What will I be doing?

Replenishers are responsible for placing and maintaining all purchase orders, managing the system parameters and calling off products in a timely manner. They must review the replenishment alerts (under / over stocks etc) and propose and action changes to resolve these issues.

Reporting direct to the Merchandiser, the replenishment role is pivotal to the department success, effectively planning stock intake to optimise stock availability to support achieving, or exceeding, sales budgets.

The Replenisher must have a good understanding of the supply base and manage placement of GFR purchase orders, and inbound stocks. Customer product availability is paramount, and a good understanding of the product sale profile is essential.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the Merchandiser in the management of stock intake within the agreed targets
  • Supporting the Merchandiser on forward order buys/forecasts, working within the Merchandisers guidelines
  • Managing placement to delivery of all GFR purchase orders
  • Maintaining department delivery schedule, vocalising delivery risks or opportunities against the critical path to the Merchandiser and Department
  • Maintaining and seeking ways to effectively improve replenishment system parameters, such as lead times & MOQ’s, monitoring and reporting results to Merchandiser
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure suppliers conform to delivery KPI's, suggesting action plans to improve where necessary
  • Input into Trading, Strategy & Sourcing meetings (stock availability, OTIF, intake bridges & stock gap analysis - overall supplier compliance)
  • Full awareness of department best sellers - proactively raising concerns on order coverage whilst reducing overstocks on the tail, and vocalising over-stock risks
  • Timely resolution of Invoice quantity discrepancies, determining the root cause and ensuring the best commercial outcome for the business

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

No previous experience is essential, although any stock control experience is an advantage. We welcome applications from recent graduates looking to build a career in retail. You should possess exceptional numeracy skills with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in managing/liaising with a supply base preferable. Proactive behaviour to challenge product lead times, minimum order restrictions and delivery lead times essential. A strong communicator, with commercial acumen and an effective negotiator.

Customer Service Advisor - German speaking

As a German speaking Customer Service Advisor you will be representing Wiggle, assisting and advising our German and English customers via Live Chat, Email and Phone with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve issues

What will I be doing?

Working as part of the customer service team you will be responsible for helping maintaining Wiggle’s global service levels across all media and contact types. Supporting our German and English customers via contact sources of pre-sale, during-sale and after-sale queries related to all products, brands and services.

This role will have a rotating shift pattern - week 1 06.00 - 14.30 / week 2 - 09.00 - 17.30 / week 3 - 13.30 to 22.00.

One in three weekends will be worked (09.00-17.30) with Monday and Tuesday off.

Shift rotas are provided 8 weeks in advance.

There is also a performance based bonus which is paid monthly

Duties and responsibilities

·Manage the Insight team (currently two direct reports)

·Ensure all reporting is carried out with quality assurance implemented

·Support the development of segmentation, analytical & predictive models and customer profiles for the business. Working closely with our Data Science team in doing so.

·Oversee and advise on campaign selection and measurement.

·Play a key role in informing the CRM strategy and roadmap.

·Work closely with the wider team and other key stakeholders to understand marketing requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·At least 2 years Tableau experience

·At least 2 years of campaign evaluation

·Experience in statistical analysis and modelling, preferably in the retail sector, in R or Python.

·Experience in implementing a control group for campaigns

·Strong analytical and quantitative skills

·Previous experience managing workload and team members

·You should have relevant analytical experience within the retail sector, working with large volumes of data and customer numbers

What will I be doing?

You will own the overall stock levels in the business and maintain this at the most efficient level to optimise product availability.  You must challenge and constantly improve the supplier efficiencies such as improved lead times, lower MOQ’s, more efficient pack sizes etc. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Placement of purchase orders / stock call off’s from the supply base
  • Working to improve the overall replenishment parameters from the suppliers (such as lead times, MOQ’s etc)
  • Ensuring deliveries are on time and in full
  • Liaising with the supply base to gain accurate and honest communications
  • Working closely with colleagues in Operations and Goods In to ensure an efficient supply chain
  • Maintaining replenishment system parameters accurately
  • Resolve supplier issues efficiently and effectively

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Past experience of Replenishment within a similar retailer, or highly performing individual from within the business looking to progress. 
  • Must be exceptionally numeric with good skills in Excel and Powerpoint, with SO99 an advantage. 
  • Have a good understanding of the wider supply base, product lead times, minimum order restrictions, delivery lead times etc, and able to challenge and improve these. 
  • A strong communicator and negotiator essential.

What will I be doing?

The purpose of this role is to support the end to end Lost in Post process from original customer contact all the way through to courier compensation. The role will support and manage Wiggle customer contact and submit group courier claims for both Wiggle and CRC. There are multiple WiggleCRC sites across the UK in which orders are shipped and so this is a busy role.

You will also be:

  • Ensuring customer contacts are addressed within the expected CS KPI required timescales.
  • Logging, submitting and chasing couriers for claim repayments.
  • Recording and reporting on Lost in Post levels by country and service to identify concerns. 
  • Working with the Op’s courier management team to address any concerns.
  • Providing support to the group and submit investigations into damaged in transit cases.
  • Identifying any fraudulent claimants and liaising with the fraud team to raise concerns.
  • Continually evolve the Lost in Post process to benefit customer requirements.
  • Provide visibility to the group of reconciliation against what has been lost, claimed and compensated.  Identifying gaps and addressing.

What will I be doing?

The Data Engineer role will form a key part of the team with responsibility for interacting with system owners and the business to integrate the data within the data warehouse, using tools such as Oracle ODI and EDQ. The role will also be responsible with the Data Architect for shaping future data platforms, tooling and standards to meet an increasing demand for data within the business.

What will I be doing?

This role is commercially focused, balancing both the ability to deliver hands on HR solutions to the business whilst managing a high ER case load. The HR BP is responsible for ensuring UK legislation is considered and interpreted to fit the Wiggle and distribution centre environment, from both a process, procedural and policy perspective. The role provides support to all areas of site from a HR perspective and will be responsible for supporting the HR department in completing business development projects. The role will partner with stakeholders from within the operations functions and will need to have a clear understanding of what drives the business, the market and how this impacts the people agenda on site. The HRBP will be expected to provide coaching and advice to managers and leaders to ensure delivery of their business area through performance of their people.

Duties and responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate action planning on the full range of HR activities relevant to the distribution centre, including but not limited to Employee Relations, Reward, Policy, process and work force planning,

- Diagnose and analyse people issues, providing objective challenge and engaging the appropriate methods to ensure resolution.

- Support managers and the business on all Employee Relations in line with company policy and legislation, minimising risk to the business

- Support the management team in creating and delivering plans to build high employee engagement

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sourcing product information from suppliers in conjunction with colleagues in the B&M team
  • Using source information to create product descriptions that are accurate, inspiring and persuasive.
  • Providing the customer with accurate sizing information to ensure they buy the specific product that is right for them.
  • Using source visual and audio-visual assets to encourage the customer to buy.
  • Systematically reviewing product information to correct any inaccuracies and enhance the presentation and content.
  • Carrying out any other duties, as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written English and grammar skills
  • Experience of working in an online product environment is an advantage but not essential
