The UK's number 1 online cycle retailer Wiggle.co.uk is on the hunt for a new team member within the Buying and Merchandising team. The Role We are seeking an exceptional person to join our Buying and Merchandising Team, reporting to the Merchandising Director. You will be involved with supplier meetings and delivering of agreed meeting discussions, actively pursuing exclusive promotions, involvement with the planning and presentation of products listed on the site and working with the team on extensive and constant range reviewing. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cycling and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of cycling. You’ll understand the brands in the market place, the current market trends and you’ll be working closely with our suppliers to help maximise sales via successful product presentation and linking, targeted promotions and exclusive marketing campaigns. About you It’s vital that you have an in depth knowledge of the cycle trade, ideally from within the trade, though a vast understanding of each sector of the industry from a consumers side is a must have.
You’ll need the ability to achieve deadlines, work under pressure and will need exceptional organisational skills.
Strong communication skills are a must as Wiggle has a very successful team spirit and this role will involve working with all departments.
Should be IT literate with a strong knowledge of excel.
The Search Marketing Executive role is an exciting new, full time position where you can take your existing search marketing skills to the next level as the UK's number one cycle shop continues to grow both domestically and internationally. The Role You will be responsible for creating ongoing PPC/SEO and price comparison search strategies and managing their implementation, delivery and optimisation. You will be responsible for the Google Adwords, MSN Live, Yahoo Panama PPCs and the many price comparison accounts. You’ll also be involved in product feed uploads, PPC keyword analysis / selection, A/B text ad creation / testing and SEO site content. You will report directly to the Search Marketing Manager and will be responsible for providing weekly and monthly performance reports on PPC, SEO, price comparison and website activity with recommendations. Naturally, you will have knowledge of the search engines, internet and web development technologies and be able to demonstrable experience in a PPC role. The candidate will need to keep up-to-date with search marketing developments.
