Not the best quality Flimsy wires mean that you have to be careful about using the headphones. Wire could do with being a bit longer 04 August 2011

As an overview, I use earphones mainly for running, I sweat a lot, deep rich bass is a must (with enough volume to make it count) and I use an ipod shuffle 4G. Previous 2 earphones were Sennheiser CX380 and most recently the H20 Audio Surge Pro Signatures. I feel that finding the right earphone is a bit of trial and error, particularaly when you need them for running! I find that this type of in ear/silicone earbud type work best for me. A lot of people have said they (this type, not these actual ones) fall out, so I think this is the first thing you have to find out. I would not assume they will fall out when running just because someone says they do. If you find, like me, that they stay in fine (I have run up to 13 miles, sometimes in the rain and always sweating loads) then you have the best chance of comfort and deep bass with this type of earphone. As soon as you add any type of neck/earband you will add an element of discomfort and possibly affect the way the earpiece sits in your ear as you run. The big difference between these and most of the others is that they are fully waterproof so will not fail due to sweating or rain when running. To sum up: The sound quality/bass is very good (slightly better than Pro's, not as good as sennheisers, but then these are fully water proof). i did think the equal leanth cables would not be as good as the type where one is longer and goes around your neck, but now I actually prefer this type as they are much simpler. Sensible cord leanth. The mini jack plug is HUGE, but I quite like that. Nice colour XS/S/M/L/XL earbuds supplied. Fairly small size (Pro's are tiny!). All round probably the best I have found so far, as they are cheaper than the pros and fully water(sweat!)proof unlike the sennheisers. Can recommend for running, and I guess would be great for swimming. 07 June 2011

Answer:

It's approx. 1.1m of wire from minijack plug to earbuds.
Up to 33cm of that is split to left/right sides/ears. They have a sliding ring to shorten the length of the split section if you need to.
