To prevent the child seat from being mounted incorrectly, there are double safety functions built into the PLUS system. Red indicators will warn you if mounting is incorrect.

My bike is a 2011 model Shadow, 4ever http://4ever.cz/en/catalog/bike/modely-2011/cross/shadow
I could not find a Hamax manual on the internet and all the promotional videos don't show much detail.
