About BMX Race Bikes
BMX (Bicycle Motocross) is a form of cycling on specially designed dirt bikes which usually have 20 inch wheels. BMX or Bicycle Motocross orignated from racing bikes over dirt jumps, this is known as BMX racing. Tricks were also developed using these bikes and this evolved into Freestyle BMX. Freestyle BMX includes five distinct disciplines. These are Street, Park, Vert, Dirt, and Flatland. These usually involve highly technical movements of the bike in different ways over varied terrain. BMX Racing has just become an official Olympic event at the Beijing Olympic games held in 2008. This is a long way from when the sport was started by kids in United States in the early 70's, who imitated their motocross heroes on their road bicycles by riding around the motocross circuit.
About the Haro brand
Haro Bikes have always been a respected name on the BMX scene - so we're pleased to be stocking an impressive range of their race and freestyle bikes here @ Wiggle.
Ever since Haro was founded back in 1978, the bikes have always been about performance, quality, innovation and – most importantly – fun. These bikes aren't designed by faceless corporate types in stuffy offices. No way. Haro bikes are designed by riders for riders, by guys who live and breathe BMX every day of the week. Their product development labs are the streets, parks, trails and race tracks – the very same spots you love to ride. Founder Bob Haro has always worked with the best riders to make the best bikes and that continues today. There isn't a trick on the planet that can’t be done on any of the F-Series bikes. Check out the F2, F3, F4 and F24, all of which offer serious bang for your buck.Finance for the Team Issue 20 Inch 2010
