It will hold the SIS gels and as you can see on the other responses with varying degrees of success.
I have tested this product and not had a problem with any make of gels and to be honest we have sold thousands of these and had only a handful back.
One suggestion is the belt might need to be tighter around the waist to secure the gels, if it is loose enough to bounce then the gels will work loose instead of being trapped in the loops against the body and belt.
