With QR and 15mm converters supplied with the Flow, Crest, Arch, 717, 521 and QR and 20mm Converters with the Mavic 721 this makes the Pro2 wheels ultimately versatile. All of their wheels are machine built and hand finished in their Barnoldswick factory. They use Sapim Race or Sapim Sprint spokes (depending on the rim used) and Sapim Polyax brass nipples.
For the XC crowd, Hope have the Mavic XC717 & No Tubes Crest and Arch rims. This means that tubeless is now a real option and there is a rim to suit every XC need.
For the more aggressive rider, or those riding bigger bikes & terrain - Hope have the Mavic EN521 and No Tubes Flow rims. Again, this gives the option of a tubeless setup and a choice of dedicated freeride rims.
They finish the Pro2 EVO range with a classic - the Mavic EX721. No other options here - why would you need them? These combinations build into a bombproof, thrashable & reliable wheelset that fits just about any frame and fork axle type.
Lighter than the Arch, the ZTR Crest is built for cross country and light trail use. Next generation BST provides the tire stability and tubeless seal. Wins at the Tour Divide and BC Bike Race have established the Crest 29er as the leader in light, reliable big wheels.
Ach EX Rim
The Arch EX is lighter, wider and tougher than the original Arch rim! Once again, Bead Socket Technology construction provides superior tubeless compatibility. The internal arch design provides durability and stiffness, two assets especially important for heavier riders. Although lightweight, the Arch EX can handle aggressive trail riding. Quite possibly the best rim for any situation.
Flow EX Rim
The Flow EX is lower, wider, and meaner, offering a lower profile sidewall and redesigned Bead Socket Technology for maximum durability and tyre seal on even the most punishing of technical trails. We kept the weight low, but the EX offers 14% thicker sidewalls for maximum dent resistance and a 33% thicker spoke bed for added pull-through strength. Increasing the outside width of the rim to 29.1mm and the interior width to 25.5mm let them reshape the bead socket for an even tighter seal and allowed our internal arch to add even more stiffness to the rim's structure. The new Flow EX: the strongest, fastest rolling, and best sealing tubeless rim available.
The Mavic EN521 eyeleted disc rim is made from the finest 6106 alloy featuring SUP technology which means after bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish. A welded and milled rim joint is extremely strong and offers superior wheel balance. The EN 521 Disc is a disc specific rim, especially designed for enduro riding.
The Mavic XC717 disc MTB rim is one of the lightest and stiffest Cross-country rims available. Made from Mavic’s exclusive Maxtal aluminium alloy that is 30% more resistant than a 6106 alloy, for lighter and stronger rims and featuring SUP technology which means after bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish. A welded and milled rim joint is extremely strong and offers superior wheel balance. This high end rim fulfills the needs of the most demanding Cross-country racers.
The Mavic EX721 disc MTB rim provides downhillers the strength and agility they need. This rim will suit those who want to be fastest on the down side of the mountain.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
If it's 9mm thru-axle (like DT Swiss RWS), you'll need "Hope Conversion Kits Pro 2 9mm" (not available at Wiggle at the moment, check another shops), or simply re-drill the original QR 9mm end caps with 9mm drill (even better with 9H7 reamer) in the lathe. It's really easy...
Option: 20mm To QR
however, it does come with a rim tape that seems to be sticky. it is not like regular rim tapes that can be moved around easily, it seems more like cloth sticky tape. i have never used a tubeless kit so am not sure how it is supposed to look, however it definitely does not look like regular rim tape.
XC Rims (XR400, Crest, Arch, 717, Tn 719) supplied with Q/r & 15mm Conversions
FR/DH Rims (EX500, Flow, 521 & 721) supplied with Q/r & 20mm Conversions
You will still be able to change one for another, however you will need to purchase the correct conversion kit as the hub itself stays the same.
I hope this helps.
if not what items do I need to make them tubeless.
also what tyres can I use when tubeless?
