Snap Zip Baffle
The Snap Zip baffle controls the shape of the reservoir, making it flatter during use and easier to slide in and out of the backpack. The flat shape helps preserve the ventilation characteristics of your pack and the baffle prevents fluid sloshing from side to side, keeping the load stable and agile. The snap zip function lets you turn the reservoir inside-out for convenient deep cleaning.
Superslider Seal Technology
The Super Seal closure is comprised of a fold away flap and strong plastic slider which also doubles as a handle. It provides secure and leak free operation with quick access for re-fills and cleaning.
Straight-Shot Plug and Play Connection System
A vertical exit and in-line connection provides a more natural tube path with less chance of kinking, the Plug and play valve connector allows you to remove the hose without leakage; great during cleaning and filling of the reservoir.
Hydraflex Tubing
Hydraflex tubing is softer and narrower to minimize kinking and improve draping whilst still delivering a high flow for quick and satisfying fluid delivery.
About Hydration Systems
Letting yourself get dehydrated is the quickest way to compromise your performance and ruin your fun. A hydration system lets you carry a good amount (usually 2 or 3 litres) of water without interfering with your hands and with a convenient valve to drink from whenever you like. During intensive exercise, you'll need to drink around 1 litre of water every hour which means sipping little and often - much easier if you don't have to stop what you're doing and locate a bottle. Adding an energy drink to the water makes the process even more effective and can enhance performance. Make sure you choose a cleaning kit to go with your system or you'll be buying a new reservoir regularly! Different systems combine varying amounts of hydration capacity with a wide variety of cargo options, meaning you can carry everything from an energy bar to all the gear you need for a full day out.
About the HydraPak brand
Launched in 1996, Hydrapak was introduced to satisfy the growing demand from cyclists for personal hydration systems. Relying on input from professional athletes and feedback from a large staff of avid cyclists and product testers, the Hydrapak line was continuously refined to ensure the products met buyers' hydration needs.
