Sharing the ground breaking Tri-C™ outsole and third generation Meta-Shank™ found in the 255, the 245 offers the same industry leading grip and underfoot protection.
Based on the shape of the foot, this is our most natural fit. More room in the toe box allows the toes to spread.
5-finger polymer Meta-Shank™ aligns with each individual metatarsal for increased benefit from the ‘Windlass Effect’, whilst retaining underfoot impact protection and flexibility.
Lots of proprioception and a flexible lower profile ride, great stability under weights.
Three different rubber compounds guarantee excellent grip and optimum wear rate.
About Offroad Running Shoes
Offroad or "trail" shoes offer increased outsole traction and uppers with toe bumpers and reinforced stitching for more durability. The foot often sits slightly lower to the ground than usual for stability and responsiveness. Offroad shoes often have less cushioning than a road shoe because they're designed for softer surfaces. You should choose offroad shoes if you do a lot of off-road running and need shoes with extra traction, more durable uppers and extra protection from the terrain.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
The rubber toe protection is now impregnated into the mesh but the bumper at the front remains the same. The mesh material is tougher than the old models and seems to last longer. The ribs on the sides of the shoe are more flexible which has stopped them cutting into the Mesh. The heal, fit, footbed etc are the same. Mine have done a 100 miles so far and unlike my last version show no sign of the mesh being worn. The rubber toe bumper is starting to peel off (due to the rubber impregnated front) but this is no big deal cos it's unlikely that my feet are gonna be on show cos the mesh has ripped anytime soon. They're actually an improvement?!?
