About Offroad Running Shoes
Offroad or "trail" shoes offer increased outsole traction and uppers with toe bumpers and reinforced stitching for more durability. The foot often sits slightly lower to the ground than usual for stability and responsiveness. Offroad shoes often have less cushioning than a road shoe because they're designed for softer surfaces. You should choose offroad shoes if you do a lot of off-road running and need shoes with extra traction, more durable uppers and extra protection from the terrain.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I bought this shoe. It has a very narrow prescriptive last - which means it suits narrow feet. If you can find 268's they are more suited for women. I love this shoe, it looks great and so grippy - but too narrow for my hobbity feet.
hope that helps
Which size should I choose? I have got x-talon 190 (9.5) and they are ok but f-lite 195 in the same size are too tight in the toe area and, I think 10 would be better. I would like to know if 212 are similar to x-talon or to f-lite.
I run a similar distance when local with similar tracks by the sounds of it. If the pavement you run on has grass at the side of it then you will look for this in these shoes as they arent that comfotable on concrete.
However when you do an out and out off road run these shoes really come into their own
Sadly they will wear out quicker than usual.
What is the difference between X-talon 212 AW13 and X-talon 212 SS14 ? A few days ago AW13 cost 105 euro and now you have changed the name to SS14 and increase the price for 2 euro. Is it a game, marketing trick?
And how is the support in the heel area? My heels press inwards if there is not enough support.
