About Gear Cables
Good quality gear cables will have a dramatic effect on the feel and function of your drivetrain. Fully sealed systems are particularly good for MTB's used off-road or your winter bike as they prevent the ingress of water and muck, they have the benefit of requiring minimal maintenance, which is always nice. A good quality gear cable will provide a smoother lever feel, along with sharper and more precise shifting.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I don't know the diameter of the internal cable, but I have just used this kit to install a 1x10 SRAM X0 shifter and rear mech and it works a treat. There are internal cables for the front and rear and enough casing to have one fully covered and the other partially covered.
Hope this helps.
The cable dia measures 1.2mm on my vernier caliper
Also, do you have to take the triggers apart? I took one of my triggers apart once and ended up having to buy a new one because all of the insides pinged out!
