The benefits are great center thread life, and great cornering control and grip. Found typically in Kenda's Legends Series and race/performance tyres. |

About Cyclocross Tyres
Cyclo Cross tyres are for use with road wheels to allow them to be ridden off road. They range from 30 to 35mm wide and are designed with different tread patterns to suit the various conditions that can be encountered during the Cyclo Cross season. Usually at the start of the season the ground is dry and hard so a narrower low tread tyre is needed as low rolling resistance is a priority. Later in the season when the ground is wet, grip is a priority so a wider tyre with increased tread would be the better option.
