I purchased these forks as a replacement for some crash damaged original fit forks. Speedy delivery from wiggle as always at a good price (not wanting to spend too much). Look good and a 3rd of the weight of my old forks easy to fit even for an amateur. Has improved the ride of my bike and the steering feels faster/more responsive. 11 November 2010

It'll do for now Fitted to Kinesis Racelight T frame as cheap alternative to worn carbon fork. Handling through bends is good and braking is more positive. Bike seems to pick up speed better. However, there is noticeably more road buzz in the handlebars and ride is harsher on rougher roads. I've had one long ride of 50 miles and this seemed more tiring than with the carbon fork. Also the paint work scratches easily. 08 August 2009

Do these forks have an alloy stem?

I need a replacement for a GT racer which has completely alloy forks. I tried a set with an aluminium stem but it is just too wide at the base.

I don't want to pay more than £100 if possible

Measuring for fork Replacement

Im measuring my current forks so i can buy these ones at the right size. Do I measure the steerer tube on my existing forks to ge the correct measurement?

Answer:

You will want the steerer diameter and the axle to crown measurement so you can choose the correct forks. Steerer tube lengths are normally a standardized length and will need shortening before fitting.
