The Kiron Mistral Frameset is something that we have been asked for so many times at Wiggle, a quality road racing frame at the right price. Whether its for use as a training frame or a crash replacement, the Mistral fits perfectly.
Individually hand-built using a high quality 7005 Aluminium tubing, you get everything you expect and demand from a great training frame, and nothing you don't. The front triangle has been combined with the tried and tested Easton EA70 carbon road fork, giving you that extra comfort and precise feel with all the stiffness at the rear where you need it.
The Kiron Mistral frame-set is the perfect companion to the new Kiron UltraLite bicycle, and the beginnings of a new and exciting UK brand built specifically around the sportive rider.

Road frames have come a long way in recent years with new advancements in technology and materials. Carbon fibre, aluminium and titanium are all widely used now as well as the more traditional steel tubesets. They all have their own advantages: aluminium offers good performance at a reasonable price, titanium offers ultimate performance at a premium price while carbon fibre offers superb comfort and performance at intermediate cost. It is not uncommon for the materials to be mixed to give the benefits of all the materials in one frame - a carbon fibre rear end on an aluminium frame, for example.
