What tools do I need to take that chain apart with one of these links installed? Is there a particular tool which can be used to 'unlock' the link easily or do I take it apart with my hands?

The KMC X10-L chain is advertised as both Campagnolo and Shimano-compatible. Yet the spare link is Campag or Shimano. So what spare link do I need for a KMC X10-L fitted to a Campag groupset?

Just wondering if this will work with the 10 speed 7900 Dura Ace chain as it would make cleaning and maintenance a lot easier than breaking the chain and sticking a new pin in every time?

Yes, works well as running full Dura Ace 7900 set-up and no problems. Definitely make cassette changes and chain cleaning much easier, but although easy to connect they are fiddly to unlock.
