The Knog Bullfrog is simple to use, just hold-down the button for 'shortcut' on/off function. The unique design with cutout silicone rubber allows for handlebar attachment over computers. This a superb light to be seen with and is visible up to 600 metres away.
This is a safety light only and should be used in conjunction with a regular rear light.
About Rear Lights
Almost all bicycle rear lights use LEDs instead of filament bulbs as they are more reliable and use much less battery power, whilst also offering much higher levels of brightness. Used in flashing mode, they are very good at attracting attention from other road users. It's advisable to use at least two rear bike lights, a common configuration is one flashing and one in constant, this is highly advisable just in case one stops or becomes obscured.

This is a light unit contained within a silicone housing that also doubles up as the clamp. Sporting five LEDs powered by 3 AAA batteries, there are an assortment of flashing modes to choose from, as well as constant light. The run times were nowhere near the claimed times though, with a little over 132 hours in flashing mode, well under the claimed 220. Although not that bright in the light readings, the impressive thing about the bullfrog is its visibility. The whole silicone body more or less lights up in teh dark, making it highly visible from all angles. The lack of mounting makes it simple to fit almost anywhere, wlthough on smaller diameter seatposts, it did tend to move over the bumps over the bumps when wet.
In conclusion...
Soon ends up beige with dirt, but a good performer nonetheless.
