Boa Monofilament Closure
A micro cable closure system that provides fine tunable retention and totally even tension across the shoe, giving a pressure point and hotspot-free fit. The Boa mechanism provides quick and easy adjustment with one hand and instant release at the end of your ride.
A lightweight and extremely breathable material that offers exceptional ventilation and drainage for a cool and dry feel while you pedal. NuFoam also provides an antibacterial action for lasting freshness and odour resistance.
About Tri Shoes
Triathlon racing cycling shoes are designed without compromise to provide the optimum power transfer between your foot and the pedal, a good quality triathlon shoe is a wise investment for performance and weight saving and is often overlooked. High-tech materials and precision manufacture keep weight down and stiffness up, this means your rotational mass is lower and power transfer is higher, resulting in more forward momentum for your effort. The main difference between a Tri shoe and a road shoe is the number of straps found on the uppers, Tri shoes tend to have one large strap for quick and easy removal during transitions, whereas a road shoe will have three or even four straps. For longer distance events such as half and full Ironmans a road shoe could be a wise choice though.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
Looking at the image of the strap that the boa fastener connects to it doesn't look very sturdy, what kind of guarantee do wiggle offer:
a) If this breaks the strap?
b) If a guarantee were to be offered how long would this stand for?
My problem is that if I'm going to spend £200+ on shoes I would need the guarantee that were the wire cut through the strap would I be left in the lurch?
