Product Q & A

When I flopped on a rock section,
i bent my hanger and fixed with this.
Only really needed if your bike has been in a crash and the rear derailer was damaged or if you have poor shifting (rear).
Not a tool you would use a lot or need to use alot...i've bought one myself and its an excellent tool!! If the budget allows, i'd buy one!
If the arm does not reach to the rim, you may check with spokes.
I have just adjusted the hanger on my Stevens Sonora SL carbon frame.
I adjusted with the wheel lock up in frame which locks up the hanger between the quick release.
I had to adjust 12mm horizontally a 22mm vertically inwards with no issue.
It doesn't really matter the frame, as it works using the hanger and wheel, so as long as the hanger is an adjustable metal it'll work.
I'd say if you go well over the top and try wrestling it you might damage the hanger before the frame CRACKS :-)
Be firm but gentle with adjustments.
The bar is straight and the mechanism that you use to check tolerances freely slides up and down the entire length of the bar.
Accuracy will be less than lager wheels.
I think I read somewhere that Campagnolo and Shimano threads are a slightly different pitch but this may be for much older derailleurs.
I want to use this on a modern Campag derailleur.
Just use caution when threading the tool onto the hangar, as you don't want to cross thread the hangar.
but I had fixed up a hanger for shimano 2013 model derailleur
with this tool.
