Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
You can fit any 1/4" bits on the tool. So if you have a 10mm Allen key with 1/4" bit; it will fit.
I purchased a 10mm hex bit with 1/4" drive from ebay for about £3.
I also purchased a 1/4"F-3/8"M and 3/8"F-1/2"M socket adapters which are useful for the cassette and other sockets that need a larger drive.
Should I go by the line or the number of times I turned the adjuster?
Use the indicator in the window as a rough indication. By turning the bottom end; you increase torque by 4 Nm for each full turn.
Therefore; the window gives you an indication whether you're in the range of 0-2, 2-4, etcetera.
So add the number on the lower ring to the number indicated in the window.
You turn the pre-load knob until the indicator reaches the line/value of the setting you require,
The unit is very easy to set and read.
2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 mm Hex
