It depends on the bottle cage. If used with a Tacx Uma with clamps slightly bent inward , then yes, the mug will fit.

Does the whole top come off so it as like a real mug or does the top unscrew so that you can pour into a cup or is it like a take away coffee cup with a hole to drink through? ...?
Any photos illustrating this?
Answers
Answer:
The whole top unscrews and the flask lip is nicely shaped to drink from.

Answer:
The whole top unscrews and comes off so you can just drink from the remaining mug. It is comfortable to drink from but be careful if you've put a hot drink in it.

Answer:
It doesn't have a hole to drink through. It's essentially like drinking out of a jar with you putting the threaded opening to your mouth. Don't think you'll find any that have a hole to drink out of - I certainly looked. The choice out there of these outdoor mugs seems to be thermal with a secure lid, or a hole in the top and no secure lid. Can't see a product with both.

Answer:
It is a little thinner than a standard water bottle so it won't fit a standard cage (e.g. Tacx). However my Bontrager bat cage does keep it secure!

Answer:
If I understand bidon cage to mean a standard 750 ml water bottle cage, then the answer is no. (Sorry if I am off the mark - bidon is not a common term here in the US, but it appears to refer to a water bottle where I have seen it used elsewhere).
I placed one of these in my standard bicycle water bottle cage and the mug was much too small - it was not held in place at all.

The actual packaging with the mugs shows more colours, is it possible to purchase the gloss black/charcoal, the olive drab and the gloss grey/white in reasonable numbers (eg 6 of each)?
