The new Lightweight brake pads are specially formulated for improved brake performance in combination with carbon fibre rims. They offer drastically improved modulation.
The pads are supplied by the specialists at SWISSSTOP. They are the result of extensive tests in the lab and on the road. Contrary to ordinary pads for carbon rims, our pads do not consist of cork, but of high-performance rubber. This completely new material easily surpassed the results of ordinary cork pads in all tests. Greatest advantages were found with regard to brake modulation, wear, and performance in wet conditions.During the development process our focus had been:

Brake blocks are available in various fitments and compounds to suit your needs, softer pads will wear quickly but are ideal for wet weather use, whereas hard compound pads will last but not offer great wet weather performance.
