The Keo Sprint has been developed with strength and lightness in mind as well as performance and durability. This pedal features two In-Line bearings and a cromoly axle. the pedal is made up from injected Polyamid, which makes the pedal both very light and also very stiff.

The reduced cleat size allows the designers to reduce the overall weight of both the cleat and the pedal. This is borne out as the Keo Sprint is the lightest pedal on test. The reduced cleat size also reduces the distance from axle to sole, improving efficiency over the old ARC systems.
Apart from the height, though, the function is superb. The low friction material inserts on the cleat aid entry and exit, and as you walk on a seperate part of the cleat, they are less prone to accidental release when worn.
In conclusion...
The Keo Sprint is still a high pedal compared to others on test and it's noticeable when riding.
