With 60mm (front) and 66mm (rear) deep rims, bladed spokes (12f/18r) and narrow flange spacing, Mad Fiber Road Wheels and their patent pending technology have been validated in the San Diego low speed wind tunnel as being among the best in the business in terms of aerodynamics, and particularly distinguish themselves from the competition in crosswinds.
They achieve this level of aerodynamic efficiency while tipping the scales at just 1085g per pair and meeting or exceeding every industry standard for wheel strength, rigidity and durability.
This means that you can choose Mad Fiber wheels when you need the best performance on a day with big climbs - and not have any drop off in aerodynamic performance. It means you can choose Mad Fiber wheels for the flattest, fastest, windiest days - and not pay a price in added weight. And it means you can use them with confidence - even on rough roads - without worrying about rider weight restrictions.
The hubs are made from titanium which is lighter than steel, and more durable than aluminium (no notching from the cogs) and could suggest that titanium may be the perfect freehub material.
Please note: These wheels are handmade with around 2-3 sets being built daily (made-to-order). When placing the order for a wheelset there could be a long lead time for delivery, but this may vary. You will be notified when the order has been placed.
About the Mad Fiber brand
At Mad Fiber, all we do is make bicycle wheels—the most technically advanced, drool-worthy wheels in the world. This is an almost complete reboot of the bicycle wheel—an entirely different concept, and an entirely different way of building wheels. It wasn’t something that could be done at an existing facility—we needed fresh blood, and a whole new way of manufacturing. So we started our own company to do it, and rounded up some really smart guys, with exceedingly sharp pencils, some serious computational chops and manufacturing know-how. It also doesn’t hurt that we’re in Seattle, and able to make use of the region’s vast technology manufacturing base that exists to support Boeing. We exploit local Boeing sub-contractors for some parts production, but Mad Fibers are entirely American-made, built in a nearly 100-year-old converted bakery building where we now cook up the world’s tastiest bicycle wheels.

We will happily refund or exchange any item purchased on Wiggle if returned to us within 365 days, excluding Wiggle gift vouchers and personalized products except when faulty.
Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty.
Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.
