These clinchers are superb and ideal for the serious roadie and/or climber. They feature Mavic’s Exalith 2 rims, which provide a high level of performance and stopping power in all weathers. These wheels also come fitted with their Yksion tyres.

The tyres are wheel specific with the Powerlink tyre, designed for the rear wheel, supplying low rolling resistance and superb energy transfer, and the Griplink tyre (front wheel) generating excellent cornering grip (thanks to the sticky Dual S+ compound, with added Silica) and superior control. Combine the pair together and you have a tyre system that will install confidence when you ride the bike and deliver ultimate performance and total control.
The aim of the Exilath rims is to provide a very high braking surface. This is thanks to Mavic’s Exalith 2 technology and has been designed for optimum braking performance and excellent durability.
With these wheels Mavic recommends that you use their Exalith 2 brake pads. These pads have been designed solely for use with Mavic Exalith rims. This ensures consistent and predictable braking, in all weather conditions.
The R-SYS wheels also feature these technologies to enhance rider comfort and wheel performance: FTS-L, Fore, TraComp, Maxtal, QRM SL, SUP, Zicral, Exalith 2, ISM 3D.
These are an outstanding set of wheels and are suited for any serious rider wanting the best in performance everytime whilst out on the bike.
