I'm looking for a tyre (preferably with red trim) which has good performance and is specifically punture resistant. I'm not interested in heavy tyres but like wise I am not into racing. I just like getting decent miles under my belt. Would these tyres be suitably resistant to puctures on rural roads? I understand there will always be the odd negative reviewer on any decent product but it does make you wonder.

I can honestly say these are really good tyres, I have had these on my bike for 8 months, I cycle to work every day of the week, roughly 200kms and then go out on a Sunday for a 100km spin, so roughly taking holidays away I've done 8000kms and not one puncture, I won't use any other tyre

I've used the Service Course on gravel occasionally without issues, but I would recommend the Endurance if you plan to ride a lot of dirt.
The 25c at lower pressures works well. Min measure closer to 27.5c (digital calipers at 90 psi on a Dura-Ace 9000 wheel).

On a 65 mile Sportive cycle that took in a lot of country lanes with lots of debris, I was certainly the minority with these tyres. There were lots of punctures and I escaped unscathed.

I'm with you, cycle mainly on country roads, and normally pick up punctures through grit and glass working their way through the tyres over time.
Looked at a few tyres, and finally fitted these a few weeks ago, great performance on these tyres, fast and comfortable.
The puncture resistant layer is obvious in the tyre before you put it on the bike, looks like it'll do the job well, a few hundred k so far so good.

Answer:
The outer rim diameter should be the same as any other wheel (700mm), should be fine, but just take care putting them on the first time as the bead on the tyre edge can be a little tight first time. I've got some 50mm Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR clinchers - I'm considering putting Pro 4s on when the Mavic WTS tyres need replacing, won't have any problems.

No they're not. I bought the digital blue ones for my wife's Bianchi but had the return them to Wiggle. They're too blue and not green enough for Bianchi's Celeste colour. Looked all wrong.

For competition it might be worth looking at the Comp version, slightly more expensive but lighter. Don't let the scaremongers put you off with the sidewall weight, I haven't had any problems in any case.
Good fast rolling tyres though. Good luck with your TTs.
