Muc-Off wet Lube is an ultra durable, long distance bicycle chain and component. It's specifically formulated to excel in long distance wet or muddy conditions. Our state of the art, naturally derived formula penetrates deep into the chain links core to provide long lasting lubrication and total protection.
Our integral 'Extreme Pressure Additives' coat every part of the link to provide silky smooth gear change and ultra efficient drivetrain.
About Lubrication
Adequate lubrication allows smooth continuous operation of equipment, with only mild wear, and without excessive stresses or seizures at bearings. When lubrication breaks down, metal or other components can rub destructively over each other, causing destructive damage, heat, and premature avoidable failure. The right lubricant will keep your bike working properly for much longer and will save you a heap of money in the long run. You'll need a thin, dry lube for the cables and pivots of your brakes and gears. This will resist water and won't attract dirt. Chains require something heavier and will use different lubes for the different seasons. In the summer, a White Lightning type lube will keep them clean and protected but wetter weather means you'll need a more tenacious alternative.

Muc-Off now does a range of lubes. This thick viscous wet lube is drip applied directly to the chain and should sit a few minutes to penetrate the insides of the rollers. It goes on easily and stays more or less where you put it. Because it's a drip applicator it'll last a while too. The excess should then be removed with a dry, lint free rag until the chain is spotless and shiny. Your chain is now protected for about 50 miles of hard riding less if you're in a complete deluge or submerging the drive train in water. Remove with degreaser when done and repeat the process until the sun comes out again in spring.
