• N2 is the ground breaking new midsole technology that delivers premium plush cushioning and high durability with less material thickness. N2 uses a TPU based foam rather then EVA. This means the cushioing is denser and is microcelluar, so reduces compression. The result is less midsole thickness is required to gain the same amount of cushioning and durability. More cushioning, greater durability, less midsole, less weight!
• As a result of N2 the 1080 is designed on the new PL-1 natural last. This last has a 4mm reduction at the heel, providing a 8mm differential between heel and forefoot (20mm to 12 mm) compared to the standard 12mm (24mm to 12mm). The lower heel height provides 3 main benefits > 1) Your foot will be in a more natural position when striking the ground. 2) Your foot will be inherently more stable as it is closer to the ground. 3) Due to the need for less midsole, the shoe will provide a fantastic lightweight responsive ride, making the shoe lighter then ever

• The 1080 contains Abzorb and N-ergy: For pure cushioning in the heel and forefoot, Abzorb softens the impact, whilst absorbing and displacing shock with each foot strike. N-ergy at the heel provides a unique cushioning experience. As it compresses upon impact, it absorbs heel shock, whilst helping stabilize the foot as the heel displaces, slowing the rate of pronation. N-ergy then rebounds to provide a rebound effect for push off for maximum responsiveness
• Dual density post to aid support and work in combination with the Stabilicore post for superior support
• Stability Web delivers superior support in the midfoot whilst reducing the overall weight of the shoe. Positioned under the arch, Stability Web allows for torsion and flexion control in the arch whilst maintaining flexibility in the forefoot
