Meryl Skinlife Fabric: A quick-drying and wear-resistant hypoallergenic microfibre that offers outstanding lightness, good protection against showers and wind, excellent elasticity and exceptional breathability.
Biomap Construction: Through biomechanical analysis on the inclination of the athletes foot while pedalling, Northwave have developed a unique reinforced construction, more protective in the areas exposed to the air, and thinner in the others.
X-Static Coolmax: A thread made from silver fibres which uses the natural properties of silver to inhibit the growth of bacteria, dissipate electrostatic charges and reflect heat.
About Cycling Socks
Your feet work really hard on a bike and are a major point of contact, so it's worth pampering them a bit. Cycling socks are designed to relieve the pressure points generated by pedalling and keep your skin dry by wicking moisture away. Blood flow is also important through your feet, so a cool, vented foot will allow this better than a hot clammy foot.
About the Northwave brand
Northwave is a high quality manufacturer of snowboard and cycling shoes and clothing. Northwave was founded by Gianni Piva in Montebelluna, Italy and the company is owned by the Piva family. Northwave first started out as a shoe manufacturer in the early 1980's, producing shoes for other companies. In the late 80's, Northwave started producing snowboard and then its own brands of sports shoes. In the early to mid 1990's, after great success in the action sports industry, Northwave started to produce its own range of cycling shoes. “Place your trust in those like NORTHWAVE, who have always offered you the best, because for a cyclist, choosing NORTHWAVE means choosing the best for himself.”
