The GORE-TEX® membrane guarantees complete waterproofing while allowing vapour to escape. It's ideal for riding in cold and wet conditions for long periods without tiring or overheating your feet.
NRG Carbon Reinforced Sole:
NRG Soles feature a Nylon Construction which is filled with glass fibre and carbon powder for increased stiffness. This allows reduced weight and a shorter distance between the foot and the pedal.
Speed Lace System:
A fast, simple and secure closure mechanism, just pull the cord and push the clip downward to automatically lock the laces in place.
Ultra Y Heel Counter
The special Y-shape construction envelopes the heel and holds it perfectly in its natural position. The design is significantly lighter as only structurally essential material is included.

I also wear 43 sidi's and I find 42 northwave fits well if a little big in comparison to the sidi. But being as it is a winter shoe that is probably a good thing, means you can wear heavy socks
