NRG Air Carbon Reinforced Sole
NRG Air provides increased stiffness thanks to the new blend of nylon reinforced with fiberglass and enriched with carbon. As with the whole road soles collection, it features the AirFlow ventilation system. Vents favour an optimal air flow in and out. Compatible with SPD pedals.
After the success of Be Visible! Be Safe!, Northwave further increases its commitment to offer safe products even under conditions of reduced visibility by increasing the presence of reflective inserts on the entire collection.
It’s the Northwave ventilation system with large vents that lets your feet breathe: the lower vent channels air inside the sole, while the side vents guarantee a supply of fresh air.
Multilayer Thermowelded Construction
New Multilayer construction: a light microfiber is coupled with large thermowelded mesh vent inserts at the same thickness of a traditional monolayer. The result: better comfort and reduced weight.
The asymmetrical construction is another innovation of the collection. The central strap is moved to the center so as to follow the anatomy of the foot and reduce the pressure on the side area, because it's particularly sensitive. The straps have been lightened by all superfluous elements, presenting thinner thicknesses and discharged central areas, thereby maintaining maximum grip.
Integrated Heel System
The new unibody construction of the uppers allowed to integrate an efficient heel retention system inside the structure, without the need of external elements. Same efficiency, reduced weight.
Performance Advanced Footbed
Ergonomic design because you need to keep the perfect position when pedaling and you want comfort too.
About Road Shoes
Road racing cycling shoes are designed without compromise to provide optimum power transfer between your foot and the pedal, a good quality road cycling shoe is a wise investment for performance and weight saving and is often overlooked. High-tech materials and precision manufacture keep weight down and stiffness up, this means your rotational mass is lower and power transfer is higher, resulting in more forward momentum for your effort.

Product Q & A
Ask your questions and share your answers.
I don't want to damage the shoes so I can't return them only to find they're not compatible...
I've tried the instructions from NW above but just can't figure out what to do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
We apologize for the inconvenience, anyway even if it’s not so easy, the replacement of the cleat plate should be feasible directly by the customer.
Following you find the easiest procedure to replace the cleat plate:
1. Open completely the upper to get easy access to the midsole’s cleat area window.
2. Using a cutter try to cut the connection points of the midsole’s cleat area window.
3. Lift up the midsole’s cleat area window by a screwdriver or a similar tool.
4. Remove the cleat plate from the seat; if necessary help yourself by pushing out the cleat plate from outsole’s holes.
You should be able to do it by yourself, but in case you’re not sure about your ability and/or procedure, please go to your dealer for a proper replacement and inspection.
At your disposal for further information.
Thank you very much
I hope this helps.
