Speedlight 3D Carbon MTB Sole
The Speedlight Carbon 3D sole combines lightweight carbon inserts with a tough TPU outer for effective power transfer and pedalling efficiency over long distances off-road. The nylon chassis is filled with carbon fibre and co-injected to an outer polished TPU shell to guarantee a combination of aesthetics and functionality. The tread is made from natural rubber to ensure maximum grip on challenging terrain.
SBS Buckle Closure
S.B.S. (Step By Step) is an innovative micrometric system that ensures precise and stable closure. Pressure on the instep strap can be released and easily controlled "step by step", even while you ride.
Ankle Strap Regulation
The Ankle Strap Regulation mechanism allow you to adjust the position of the instep band for a perfect centred fit on a wide range of foot shapes. A tool is provided for quick and easy adjustment.
The Omega Heel guarantees excellent grip and maximum protection combined with the advantage of low weight. The rigid profile stabilizes the heel even under maximum load. The rear air vents allow heat to escape for comfort.
MTB Cycling shoes have stiffer soles than an everyday shoe, like a trainer for instance, this means that they transfer more power to the pedals each time you push down. By improving this connection between your foot and the pedal, you can ride longer due to more efficiency and with more comfort. Higher level shoes will have 3 straps on the upper which make them very adjustable and can improve comfort further. Mountain bike shoes have a knobbly grippy sole so you can dismount and run with the bike off road when needed, or walk for small periods if popping to the shops. They are a true all round shoe that can be used for off road, road, touring and commuting.
